The Importance of Lighting // explained

Variations of light are endless.  With a camera, literally moving a few steps over can force a change in settings in order to create the desired look.  If things in camera aren't just right, you'll be getting a gallery that consists of over/underexposed, blown out, or even grainy images.  We don't want that, and neither do you!

During our lovely, amazing, magical time with love birds Emily and Alex, we began the session with pretty sun peeking through the trees at the little apple orchard.  Shortly after starting, clouds quickly rolled in, leaving us with an overcast, cloud filled sky.

Some people might be like "O no, my pictures are going to be ugly and dull with all these clouds".  Here's where reason number 347 of having a good photographer(s) comes in….. We got this! Having good knowledge of our cameras as well as light let's us manipulate our cameras as well as our couples position to get that perfect shot, despite the forecast.

So when you're out and about with us and the weather goes south, embrace it with us.  We promise the outcome will be beautiful.
