Hey, we’re Kara and Doria, nc-based wedding and family photographers —

Home is Murphy, North Carolina, a quaint rural town nestled in the Appalachian mountains near Blue Ridge. There you can usually find Doria out on the farm caring for her 50+ animals with her family, or inside creating all natural skincare derived from the farm. Kara if not out camping with the family or finding a new family-friendly trail to hike, is in the kitchen cooking something delicious.

We both have a similar start in photography, in that, it found us after becoming mothers. Together, we appreciate natural light, and creating real, authentic moments rather than posed, forced photos. We love telling stories through our images.
