Boho Styled Engagement in Bend, OR

I think everyone can relate to feeling getting stuck in a “rut”. In the world of creatives, this can be exactly the case. If we’re not careful, we can stay complacent, become bored, or even begin to lose interest in our work. We found this in our past lives as professionals or even in school. There has to be something to draw us out of a comfort zone or even bring us to a place of stillness to once again ignite that passion deep inside. Oregon was one of those events. Oregon was an outlet to be comfortably uncomfortable…. if that even makes sense. Comfortable in our skill but uncomfortable to be challenged to add to our skill. Comfortable to be in a room full of like-minded creatives but uncomfortable to try a different type of shoot. Bend, Oregon was an amazing and refreshing experience with a small group of woman photographers from all over the United States and Canada. It was a change of scenery but also a place of realization that we live in one of the most beautiful places, the Blue Ridge Mountains. Oregon, was just that, a place to learn and re-ignite that inner creativity.
