Embrace the Crazy, North GA Family Reunion

We love meeting people!  Turning strangers into friends leaves us feeling warm and fuzzy inside every time.  Having the opportunity to photograph large groups like extended families makes us do the happy dance, so the more the merrier!

Naturally, preparing for a session with your extended family creates challenges for the family, and us!  Aside from actually getting everyone to your destination, other factors like coordinating so many outfits can get tricky!  For us it’s things like learning names and understanding each family dynamic and personalities. When you book your extended family session with us, we will ask you to give the rundown on each family.  Which people make up each unit? What are there ages? Providing this information helps paint a picture for us as to who we’re about to meet! We will also gladly give suggestions for wardrobe colors and choices. 

Keep in mind, when you have so many people involved, it's easy to get stressed and focus on imperfections.  With different personalities and temperaments bouncing around, meltdowns or even unhappy family members can occur.  Being flexible is key! We will quickly switch gears and do something different until everyone is back in sync. Maintaining a light and fun mentality without pressure is essential to making everyone feel comfortable for those smiles to come out!

At the end of the day, capturing memories is our goal.  Embrace the craziness, remember the laughs, and enjoy every minute of it!
